I was at work yesterday and since I live in Canada.. and also since my job blocks all streaming content but YouTube.. I have made my own work mix via YouTube Playlists.. As I was formatting the worlds ugliest document. I kept hearing Magic Dance from Labyrinth starting and stopping and being weird. Apparently, the video I put in my playlist was altered by the uploader to have weird text and to point out stupid bullshit. However.. looking at the comments.. I FOUND GOLD!

Happy Birthday Childhood Memories.

Yesterday was Jim Henson's 75th Birthday. Jim Henson is another one of those childhood heroes that died too early. My parents were huge fans and made sure that I had an "education" in all things Muppet.
I own Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. I relish spotting Muppets in movies. When I am very bored at work.. I hum Mna Mna!

And today, The Princess Bride turned 25. I am currently sitting at the local geeky coffee shop with a few dozen of my closest friends watching The Princess Bride. We are quoting it like Rocky Horror.

It is amazing to me to see how well this movie stands up. The one liners are amazing. The cast is epic. Really, every time I see it.. I pick up new and amazing nuances.. like today.. just now, I realized Count Rugen is CHRISTOPHER GUEST!!  Prince Humperdink, wears bronzer.

When I was younger, I remember a few of the rooms I lived in, had stars painted on the ceiling in glow in the dark paint. I say few because I moved a lot when I was younger, and I can safely say that I had at lease 3 rooms with these stars. I remember staring up at the ceiling most of the time... and getting woozy, because the stars would move. I felt sometimes that I would fall into them, even though I was safe in my bed. I would have dreams about swimming in the stars and then getting pulled into a whirlpool and drowning. However, now as an adult, I feel like I would enjoy sleeping under my own "night sky". This man, built himself a planetarium. I envy him.

Speaking of space, I also feel the need to walk around wearing these antennae... I WANT THEM. I want them so bad, I told the maker that I was crazy in love with them.
